FDA-Approved Spravato® Treatment in Hamilton Township for Depression Care

If depression has not improved with regular medications, it may be time to consider a different option. Our Spravato treatment in Hamilton Township, NJ, provides medically supervised care for people dealing with treatment-resistant depression. It is covered by major commercial insurance plans including Medicare and Horizon NJ Health for eligible patients.

How Spravato® Treatment Is Different from Standard Antidepressants

Spravato® is a prescription nasal spray that contains esketamine and is used in the treatment of depression. It is self-administered by the patient under direct medical supervision in a certified clinical setting, where healthcare professionals closely monitor each session for safety.

Spravato works differently from antidepressants like SSRIs or SNRIs. Spravato primarily acts on the glutamate neurotransmitter system through NMDA receptor modulation, which differs from the serotonin-focused mechanisms. Our esketamine therapy clinic in Hamilton Township offers an advanced medical option when standard treatments have not provided adequate improvement.

Benefits of Spravato for Treatment-Resistant Depression

When depression persists despite traditional treatments, relief can feel out of reach. Esketamine therapy provides a clinically supported option for patients whose depression has not responded to standard treatment. At our Spravato treatment clinic, patients receive expert depression care focused on reducing depressive symptoms, restoring emotional balance, and helping them regain motivation and a greater sense of stability.

Support for Persistent Depression

Our Spravato treatment supports and focuses on reducing the weight of ongoing depressive feelings so daily life becomes more manageable.

Effective When Other Medications Have Failed

Spravato may be an option for individuals whose depression symptoms persist even after traditional treatments.

Monitored Protocol with Built-in Safety Checkpoints

Treatment is delivered under a structured clinical protocol with continuous monitoring during and after each session. Built-in safety checkpoints help ensure that care remains responsive to each patient’s condition.

When Doctors May Recommend Spravato® Treatment

If depression lasts for a long time, it can affect your mood, energy, and daily functioning. In many cases of treatment-resistant depression, symptoms continue even after adequate trials of at least two oral antidepressants. When this happens, we may consider options like esketamine therapy.
