MAT/MOUD Program in Hamilton Township
MAT/MOUD Program in Hamilton Township
From sleepless nights and tense relationships to the constant worry about relapse, opioid addiction impacts every part of your life; the good news is, recovery is possible with us. Our MAT/MOUD program in Hamilton Township helps you find stability, regain control, and build the life you want.
At Mydoctor P.C., we adopt Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT), also known as Medication for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD), which is a proven approach that combines FDA-approved medications with ongoing medical care and support.
You don’t have to fight it alone; we help you overcome your cravings for a lasting impression, whether you’re in Lawrence Township, Robbinsville Township, Trenton, or West Windsor Township.
What is Medication-Assisted Treatment?
Think of Medication-Assisted Treatment as a bridge to recovery. When someone tries to stop opioids on their own, intense cravings and painful withdrawals often make it feel impossible. However, MAT eases those symptoms, restores balance in the brain, and makes space for healing and growth.
Medications like buprenorphine or naltrexone stabilize brain function, so instead of focusing all energy on resisting relapse, patients can put their focus where it truly matters, like therapy, repairing relationships, and building a healthier future.

Our MAT/MOUD program in Hamilton Township is designed to support you from day one. The process typically includes:

Will I feel “high” from the medications used in MAT?
No, these medications reduce cravings and withdrawal without creating a high, helping you feel stable and able to focus on recovery.
